Comfort Eagle

The Comfort Eagle model was designed and built for tone and comfort. Playing in a fingerstyle (or classical) position usually requires the use of a footstool to get the neck up to a comfortable position relative to the left hand. Anyone who has had hip or lower back issues or has played for any extended period of time in one sitting can appreciate that playing in this position leads to spine mis-alignment and pain. The Comfort Eagle model is my attempt to solve this problem without sacrificing tone or aesthetics.

The size is the same as the Fingerstyle model, but the neck is angled up the left side of the body. For maximum comfort I have also added features such as a Venetian cutaway, an integrated arm-rest bevel and an optional rib-rest bevel. The interior bracing has been shifted and tweaked so that tone is just as strong as any of my other models.

Amongst my personal guitar collection, the prototype for this model quickly became my first choice for almost any playing situation. Out of more than 20 guitars in my studio I am playing this one probably 90% of the time.
